This will fill you in on the adverntures our Party has in. It will be written in the eyes of my character. This will be updated after every meeting.
The Farmer
As my friends and I were sitting around in the local tavern, a farmer walked in and said his wife and tools were stolen by Kobolds. We agreed to go after them. We followed the trail of blood and Kobolds, fought some wolfs, and finally reached the chief. Luck granted me the power to Overkill the Chief, and Freakgamer's Sleep came in handy too. We didn't want to give away the tools for 7 Gold, so we decided to sell it on the Black Market. The farmer bought my bluff. I hope he's not reading this.
The Sanctum
Our next adventure lead us to a crypt. Knowing undead would be there, I knew Nathon the Cleric would be a big help. Freakgamer used his Sleep on Goblins, but that got him into trouble with the Vamberella (leech umbrella). Josh the Warrior was able to destroy the thing, but he knocked Freaky out. Nathon healed him.

Not Average D&D
What makes this club special? This isn't boring D&D "sticking to the plot." We do a lot of random things. That includes the "seeing a girl, saying is she hot," but includes:
Orcs killing babies
Selling stolen items on the Black Market, then lying
Magic "Pot"
A lot of PG16 stuff. This is what makes it fun.

D20 Club's Party
D&D is never played alone, there are at least 2 people the DM talks to. In the D20 Roleplaying Club, we have many memebers, here's some info about each of them. I'll use screen names for those I know about, and first names for those who I don't.
Ian: My friend. Our Club Leader, and main DM. He loves D&D and anime (mainly One Peice, Japanese version). He is very creative, flexible, intellegent, and always has new ideas. He's also a good runner. He's good at helping newbies, and overall, is a pro DM.
Me: I'm one of the two DM understudies. I'm a newer DM than Ian, but am very creative. I'm not as D&D intellegent, especially when it comes to spells. I like Strong Bad Emails, Super Mario, Kingdom Hearts, and... some anime. I am hated most for my strong logic.
Justin: Ian's friend, and the second DM understudy. I don't know that much about him, and he hasn't DMed yet. I'll edit this after I know more.
Freakygamer: My friend. He's played DM as much as me, and enjoys being a sorcerer. He enjoys video games, anime, manga, and saying random phrases. He is hated most for his character's cheap moves (like sleep).
Firenze: My friend. Has played less D&D than me, but still shows up. He enjoys video games, anime, and girls, and girls enjoy him. I haven't seen much of his D&D skills, so I'll update this later. He is hated most for... something.
Brian: My fourth friend. The club voice of reason. He doesn't D&D, but he helps keep the club in check. He enjoys video production and WWE. He is hated most.
Nathon: Final friend in the club. He has just started in the club, but is pretty good. He's definitly a different D&D player.
Shasta: Ian's friend. She hasn't played D&D yet, but is beginning by making her own ninja, rouge, mage, etc. Why Ian is letting her nonuple multiclass... I'm working on that.
Kai: Ian's friend. He's a common D&D player. He has yet to do anything random, but instead sticks to the basic concept.
Josh and Tai: Newest members and faces. I don't know that much about them yet. I know Josh hates Freakygamer's cheap moves.

What's D&D?
So, you don't know what D&D is? What's up with that? Anyway. Basically, D&D is an RPG Board Game.
Your Character
You can make or play as a character. D&D is usually in medieval mythical (Lord of the Rings) time era, so the basic races are.
Human, Dwarf, Elf, and Halfling
You can choose a class for your character, this is basically their profession. They include.
Warrior, Ranger, Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, Druid, Wizard, Sorcerer, and Cleric
These are the basic D&D races and classes, and are best for beginners. Things can get more complicated with Psionic series and multiclassing, but we rarely do that.
So, how is this different from a regular board or video game? Very different!
Supplies
First, you need a DM ALWAYS!
DM (Dungeon Master) is the narrator, main god, and mind of every NPC and Monster. He tells you where you are, who is there, and what you are there to do. He creates the worlds, dungeons, and scenarios. Whenever you want to do something, he backs you up. DMs must be creative, flexible, and D&D intellegent.
Make sure you have D&D dice, D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100. Chances are, the DM handles that.
Next, you need Character Sheets. These are referrences to your character's stats, and there are A LOT of them, but that's enough for another post.
If you're new at this, you should also have a Player Manual, Monster Manual, and Character tokens. These can be figurines or markers. Something to identify your character's location.
Finally, paper.
What can you do in D&D?
ANYTHING! This is more than just Dungeons. You can explore towns, forests, churches, and even other worlds. Creative DMs have taken D&D out of the classic time, going to future, anime, and (my favorite) Mario World.
How do you play D&D?
You use the dice and your mind. Roll the D&D dice (as indicated by the DM) to see if a move is activated. Wether you're attacking, dodging, spellcasting, bluffing, jumping, or any other skills. You will roll the dice and add the Character Stat indicated by DM (depending on what to do).
You'll need strategy and some creativeness. Chances are, the DM will give you multiple choices, you should figure out what to do.
Conclusion
D&D is a role playing board game allowing to do many different things. If you are interested in any more information, let me know.

Introduction
My good friend Firenze made a blog for the D20 Roleplaying Club, but it's a little light. This blog is dedicated to talking about the club in general. Enjoy
Anyway let's begin.
